About The Position
Sentara Therapy Center Healthy Way is seeking a PRN (Flexi) Occupational Therapist. The role assesses, plans, organizes, and participates in rehabilitative programs that improve functional mobility, relieve pain, and improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury. The therapist helps patients build or restore vocational and daily living skills and general independence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy.
- Virginia Occupational Therapy license.
- BLS certification.
- NBCOT certification.
- One year of experience required.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, organize, and participate in rehabilitative programs.
- Improve functional mobility and relieve pain.
- Improve or correct disabling conditions resulting from disease or injury.
- Help patients build or restore vocational and daily living skills and general independence.
