About The Position

BioMechanics is seeking a contract Occupational Therapist to provide home health services in Menifee, California, within a 10-mile radius. The therapist-owned and operated company has more than 10 years of experience in home health care and emphasizes compassionate, evidence-based patient care. The role provides occupational therapy in patients’ homes as they recover from illness, injury, or surgery. Treatment focuses on activities of daily living, home safety, motor skills, cognitive function, and adaptive equipment use. Sessions are 45 minutes, typically with two to three visits per patient each week. Weekly caseloads range from one to seven patients depending on availability. Therapists document sessions using the company’s user-friendly platform and manage their caseload independently. BioMechanics offers flexible scheduling, manageable local caseloads, a collaborative clinical environment, and personalized mentorship and onboarding support from a Senior OT.

Requirements

Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license.
Current CPR certification.
Physical exam completed within the past year.
Negative TB test.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload.

Responsibilities

Provide in-home occupational therapy to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.
Help patients improve activities of daily living, home safety, motor skills, and cognitive function, and support adaptive equipment use.
Conduct 45-minute therapy sessions, typically two to three visits per patient per week.
Manage a weekly caseload of one to seven patients, depending on availability.
Document all sessions using the company’s platform.
Work independently and manage your own caseload.
