About The Position
Lifepoint Rehabilitation is hiring an Occupational Therapist for Kindred Hospital The Palm Beaches ARU on an as-needed basis. The Occupational Therapist evaluates patient conditions and develops individualized treatment plans; provides therapeutic interventions to improve daily living skills; documents treatment sessions and progress; collaborates with healthcare professionals and families on care planning; educates patients and caregivers about adaptive techniques and equipment; and maintains compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Other duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Current and unrestricted Occupational Therapy license in the state of Florida.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance patients’ daily living skills.
- Document treatment sessions and patient progress accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and families on care planning.
- Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment.
- Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
