About The Position

Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction. Provides patient and caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed. This is a full-time, day-shift position at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, with 36 scheduled hours per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Michigan Occupational Therapist license required upon hire.
• Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy required upon hire.
• Michigan driver's license required upon hire for Home Care Business Lines.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification preferred upon hire.
