About The Position

Provides occupational therapy to patients based on patient needs and medical direction. Educates patients and caregivers and arranges adaptive equipment as needed. The position is based at Helen DeVos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and is full-time, with a day shift and 36 scheduled hours per week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Michigan occupational therapist license required upon hire.
• Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy required upon hire.
• Michigan driver's license required upon hire for Home Care Business Lines.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission preferred upon hire.
