About The Position
The Occupational Therapist assumes primary responsibility for evaluating patients and planning, implementing, supervising, reevaluating, and changing treatment programs. The therapist maintains adequate records, documents appropriate progress reports, and provides patient education. The therapist also supervises support staff and students as assigned. HH Lincoln Health is part of the Huntsville Hospital Health System and has served Lincoln County, Tennessee, since 1917. Lincoln Medical Center is a 50-bed hospital offering emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services. The organization also includes Donalson Care Center, Home Health & Hospice, and Patrick Rehab & Wellness Center, and provides primary care, women's health, cardiology, surgical care, and specialized wound care.
Requirements
- Graduate of an AOTA-accredited educational program for Occupational Therapists.
- Current Tennessee occupational therapy license.
- Must receive BCLS certification within the orientation period.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability and willingness to work with all patients in a fast-paced environment.
