Occupational Therapist (OTR) - PRN Days | Shreveport LTACH
About The Position
PAM Health is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide care for a diverse patient population. The role focuses on chronically and critically ill patients who require extended hospital care. Prior inpatient hospital experience is preferred, though candidates with a commitment and desire to learn may also be considered. The Occupational Therapist provides direct patient care and plans and implements age-appropriate treatment programs for individual patients in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices within the PAM Health System. The role also contributes to the further development of services and requires flexibility to meet the System’s needs across different facilities. The position is PRN on days at the Shreveport LTACH. Candidates must be licensed as an OT in the state where the hospital or clinic is located and hold a current BLS certification. One year of clinical experience is preferred.
Requirements
- Occupational Therapist license in the state where the hospital or clinic is located.
- Current BLS certification.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
