About The Position

Symbria is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to work at Evertrue Lutheran Home, a continuing care retirement community in Topton, Pennsylvania. The role serves older adults in a senior-living and post-acute setting as part of an interdisciplinary therapy team. The therapist establishes patient goals, develops and carries out treatment plans, supervises Occupational Therapist Assistants, meets productivity standards, and completes required documentation. New graduates are encouraged to apply; Symbria offers mentorship, training, and hands-on experience, including a professional mentorship program for therapists with under two years of experience.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school for Occupational Therapists.
• Hold a valid state license or have a pending state license if a newer graduate.

Nice To Haves

• Acute care, long-term care, and/or rehabilitation experience; experience is not required.
• New graduates are encouraged to apply. A professional mentorship program is available for those with under two years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish appropriate patient goals and creatively execute treatment plans.
• Supervise Occupational Therapist Assistants.
