Occupational Therapist - OT/OTR - Full Time
About The Position
Preferred Therapy Solutions is hiring a full-time split Occupational Therapist (OT/OTR) to work in its sub-acute/skilled nursing rehabilitation departments. The successful candidate will split time between two facilities in Dexter and Hartland. Travel time and mileage are paid when traveling between the facilities on the same day. A $5,000 sign-on or relocation bonus is offered. The company is owned and operated by therapists and emphasizes appropriate, ethical patient care, high-quality outcomes, and helping residents reach their highest level of independence. The role involves working collaboratively with rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment. The company also offers continuing education, mentoring, and flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- Hold a current Occupational Therapist license or be license eligible to practice in the state of employment.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Have experience with electronic documentation.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and timely documentation.
- Work well with others in a team setting.
- Be flexible with hours.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in a sub-acute/skilled nursing facility setting.
- Work collaboratively with other rehabilitation therapists and nursing staff in a supportive team environment.
- Complete documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
