Occupational Therapist (OTR/OT) - Full Time
About The Position
Preferred Therapy Solutions is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist for the sub-acute/skilled nursing rehabilitation department at Brewer Center for Health & Rehab in Brewer, Maine. The 111-bed facility serves geriatric patients, including short-term and long-term care residents and brain injury patients, and is one of the few certified Brain Injury programs in the state. The spacious rehabilitation gym has separate treating areas for physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech-language pathology. The therapist will provide patient care as part of a collaborative rehabilitation and nursing team, supporting residents in reaching their highest level of independence. Preferred Therapy Solutions is owned and operated by therapists and emphasizes appropriate, ethical patient care. It offers a generous paid time off package, continuing education support, flexible schedules, and mentorship programs. The hourly rate range is $33–$38, and the position includes a $5,000 sign-on or relocation bonus.
Requirements
- Hold a current Occupational Therapist license or be license eligible to practice in the state of employment.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and have experience with electronic documentation.
- Demonstrate attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
- Work well with others in a team setting.
- Be flexible with hours.
