The Occupational Therapist provides outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for the older adult population. Services are delivered in patients’ private residences or within independent living facilities, allowing therapy to occur in the most functional environment—the patient’s home. The Occupational Therapist organizes and conducts occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation. This role includes directing patient participation in selected tasks to restore, reinforce, and enhance performance, as well as facilitating the learning of skills essential for adaptation, independence, and productivity. This position offers a flexible schedule and work environment across various settings.
