About The Position

American Senior Communities is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist at Seymour Crossing. Occupational therapists build meaningful relationships with residents and staff by learning their life stories and use clinical skills to support residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being. The role is part of the ASC Therapies and Wellness team and offers a supportive environment with experienced therapy leaders and a structured nine-month mentorship program. The therapist works collaboratively with nursing and other facility teams to provide coordinated resident care.

Requirements

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Indiana.
• Ability to conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in resident conditions.
• Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.
• Demonstrated supportive presence, leadership, collaboration, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values: Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and accurately document changes in residents’ conditions.
• Promote residents’ physical and psychosocial well-being through occupational therapy clinical skills.
• Work with nursing and other facility teams to coordinate comprehensive resident care.
• Promote teamwork and a respectful, positive work environment.
• Provide a supportive, comforting, and engaging presence for residents.
