About The Position

Innovate Rehab and Wellness is hiring a licensed PRN Occupational Therapist to work in a skilled nursing facility in Viburnum, Missouri. The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs, creates and delivers individualized treatment plans, and helps patients improve motor skills, coordination, and daily function so they can regain independence and quality of life. The role uses a one-on-one patient-care approach, with group or concurrent treatments accounting for less than 1% of care. Shifts are flexible and as needed, with realistic daily scheduling intended to support work–life balance. Requirements

Master’s or doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Valid state occupational therapy license.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Passion for patient-centered care.

Nice To Haves

Occupational therapy experience preferred; new graduates are welcome.
CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations.
Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans.
Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
Train patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices.
Educate patients on strategies to improve function and safety.
Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and the full care team.
Document patient progress and treatment changes accurately.
Stay current with occupational therapy best practices and research.
Help patients improve motor skills, coordination, daily function, independence, and quality of life.
