Occupational Therapist PRN
About The Position
The Occupational Therapist implements skilled occupational therapy services for patients in all ASC Therapies & Wellness settings, in accordance with occupational therapy principles and practices and applicable policies and procedures. The role includes evaluating patients, providing quality patient care, developing treatment and discharge plans, supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA), contributing to case management, maintaining positive interactions with patients and center staff, and complying with applicable state regulations. The position serves residents at East Lake Nursing, Elkhart Meadows, and Riverside Village and offers a flexible schedule.
Requirements
- Comply with applicable state regulations concerning occupational therapy.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and provide quality patient care.
- Develop initial and ongoing treatment plans.
- Develop discharge plans.
- Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTA).
- Contribute to case management.
- Maintain positive interactions with patients and center staff.
- Adhere to applicable state regulations concerning occupational therapy.
