Occupational Therapist (Certified Lymphedema Therapist) - Outpatient Therapy- PRN/As Needed
About The Position
ProHealth Care is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist who is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist to provide outpatient care to patients throughout Waukesha County. The role is 100% outpatient and may involve coverage at any of the organization’s outpatient therapy clinic locations, including outpatient services at Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital’s Outpatient Corporate Center. The outpatient therapy department operates 13 locations and treats patients with a variety of orthopedic, neurologic, cardiovascular, and medical diagnoses. The position is pool/as-needed, with hours and days varying according to department needs and no guaranteed hours. Candidates must be available for at least four shifts per month. Clinics are open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday. No weekends or holidays are required. The role is listed at 0.01 FTE and does not include benefits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current BLS certification through the AHA, or ability to obtain it at the time of hire.
- Occupational Therapist licensure through the State of Wisconsin.
- Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT).
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of occupational therapist experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate individuals referred for occupational therapy services.
- Establish an occupational therapy prognosis and plan of treatment.
- Implement occupational therapy treatment based on evaluation results and the plan of care.
- Reassess the ongoing effects of treatment.
- Collaborate with and provide consultation to others in care delivery.
- Supervise occupational therapy assistants and aides.
