About The Position

CVHCare is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist to join our team. This position is ideal for new graduates and offers two options: guaranteed hours or non-guaranteed hours. The assigned territory includes Area #6 (Vacaville, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Dixon) and Area #7 (Vallejo, Benicia, Napa, American Canyon, Yountville). The role requires flexibility, including potential weekend coverage and willingness to travel outside the service area to maintain caseload expectations. Travelers must be willing to see Covid+ and Covid Pui patients. Payment is on a per-visit basis, with specific point values assigned to different visit types which convert to approved hours.

Requirements

Current CA OT License
BLS certification
Valid Driver's License
Auto insurance
Auto registration
Annual TB test
MMR vaccination
Varicella vaccination
HepB vaccination
TDap vaccination (within 10 years)
Annual Flu vaccination
Pass a drug screen
Pass a physical examination
Willingness to travel outside the area or work weekends if required to maintain weekly visit expectations (for guaranteed hours option).
Willingness to see Covid+ and Covid Pui patients.

Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations, re-certifications, and follow-ups.
Provide routine treatments and discharges.
Complete OASIS documentation for various visit types (ReCertification, RoC, Routine, Eval, Discharge, SoC, F/up).
Manage documentation, including visit time, drive/travel time, and phone calls to patients and doctors.
Maintain a caseload that meets weekly visit expectations.
Travel within assigned territories and potentially outside the service area.
Provide weekend coverage as required.
