Occupational Therapist - Part Time
About The Position
As an Occupational Therapist at Westside, you will have the opportunity to hone your skills and specialize in areas such as Sensory Integration Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Pediatric Mental Health. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Clinical Counselors, and ABA professionals. The role involves assessing clients for adaptations and the use of special equipment, identifying and implementing therapeutic interventions to develop fine motor skills, cognition, language skills, self-care skills, regulation, and more. You will also provide support and guidance to clients' families to help them foster the behaviors and practices implemented in treatment.
Requirements
- Master's or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program
- Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
- OT licensure or license eligible, in the state of Illinois

Responsibilities
