About The Position

The Occupational Therapist provides in-home services to children throughout Ventura, California, with occasional on-site support in Santa Barbara, California. The role includes conducting clinical assessments, providing specialized services, managing client cases, and guiding paraprofessionals. Sessions are tailored to each child’s treatment plan. The therapist also participates in weekly staff meetings and trainings and maintains required clinical and employment documentation. The position is part-time and hourly, non-exempt, with flexible hours Monday through Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Pay is $60 per hour for clinical work and $20 per hour for administrative and training work.

Requirements

Active Occupational Therapy License in California.
Ability to travel to provide in-home services.

Nice To Haves

Experience in Early Intervention is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Build trust and rapport with clients by providing consistent, quality service.
Conduct assessments for clinical services, provide specialized services, and manage client cases.
Provide clinical and administrative guidance to paraprofessionals.
Conduct in-home sessions tailored to each child’s treatment plan.
Attend weekly staff meetings and trainings prepared to contribute to discussions about cases.
Keep notes, progress reports, employee certifications, and other required documentation or renewals current.
Travel to clients’ homes to provide services.
