About The Position

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs, create and deliver individualized treatment plans, help patients improve motor skills, coordination, and daily function, and support patients in regaining independence and quality of life. This is a PRN position at the Four Seasons Living Center in Sedalia, MO, within a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The role emphasizes one-on-one patient care and offers a flexible, as-needed schedule with competitive hourly pay based on experience. Requirements

• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (accredited program)
• Valid state OT license
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Passion for patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

• Experience as an OT preferred (new grads welcome)
• CPR certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough OT evaluations
• Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans
• Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment
• Train patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices
• Educate on strategies to improve function and safety
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, physicians, and the full care team
• Document patient progress and treatment changes accurately
• Stay current with OT best practices and research
