About The Position
Corewell Health is offering a $5000 sign-on bonus for external hires! About COREWELL HEALTH VNA Our Visiting Nurses Association (VNA) is the Home Care Team serving West Michigan. We are seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our growing team supporting patients across West Michigan (specifically Big Rapids, Reed City and surrounding areas). This role offers a high level of autonomy, allowing clinicians to practice at the top of their license while delivering care in patients’ homes. Home health occupational therapy provides a unique opportunity to help patients regain independence with daily activities and safely function in the environment where they live and thrive. Our therapists maintain manageable caseloads, typically seeing 5–7 patients per day, with thoughtfully designed geographic territories that minimize travel and support work-life balance. As part of Corewell Health West, our VNA team is committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care across Ottawa County and surrounding communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited occupational therapy program
- LIC-Occupational Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required
- LIC-Driver's License - STATE_MI State of Michigan Home Care Business Lines Upon Hire required
Nice To Haves
- Master's Degree
- CRT-Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) - NB-COT National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy Upon Hire preferred
- CRT-Hand Therapist, Certified (CHT) - HTCC Hand Therapy Certification Commission Hand Therapy Program Upon Hire preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction.
- Provides patient/caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed.
