Occupational Therapist - Acute Care
About The Position
PT Solutions is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide acute care rehabilitation services in collaboration with Advent Health Hendersonville. The role focuses on expanding access to transformative care and delivering evidence-based therapy to patients, including people with neuro, trauma, and orthopedic needs. The therapist works with patients, families, clinicians, and other hospital team members to support patients in returning to their previous level of functioning or progressing to the next level of care. Requirements
- Graduate of an ACOTE-approved occupational therapy program.
- Registered with NBCOT.
- Current or pending state licensure.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care that empowers each patient to return to their previous level of functioning or proceed to the next level of care.
- Establish timely treatment plans tailored to each patient’s specific needs.
- Build positive connections with patients, patient families, fellow clinicians, and other hospital team members.
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the hospital, including with physicians, case management, and nurses.
