About The Position
The Occupational Therapist provides direct occupational therapy services to Parker residents and participants, helping them reach their maximum performance potential within a medical model of practice. The role is based in Rehabilitation Services at Parker at The Pavilion and also requires homecare visits. Parker Rehab at Home offers individualized, one-on-one physical, occupational, and speech therapy in participants’ homes, with a focus on high-quality care and clinical outcomes. The schedule is 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with two shifts monthly as needed, Monday through Friday. The hourly rate is $53.00–$58.00, depending on experience. Mileage, cell phone reimbursement, and travel time for home visits are covered according to Parker’s guidelines.
Requirements
- Valid New Jersey occupational therapy state license.
- Valid New Jersey driver’s license.
- At least one year of experience.
- Homecare visits are required.
- Flu vaccination is required during flu season.
- A master’s degree in occupational therapy is preferred, or a bachelor’s degree with equivalent work experience is required.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a nursing care facility with geriatric patients.
- Master’s degree in occupational therapy.
