About The Position

Roadrunner Home Health is a compassionate and patient-centered home health company that provides personalized care to individuals in their homes. We are dedicated to improving the quality of life for our patients and their families by delivering high-quality therapy services. We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic team.

Requirements

Valid Occupational Therapy license in New Mexico.
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Current CPR certification.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of experience in home health or a related setting
Experience in home health therapy.
Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

Conduct initial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
Provide therapeutic interventions in the patient’s home setting, including exercises, adaptive techniques, and assistive devices.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet goals.
Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to improve daily living skills and safety.
Document patient progress and treatment plans according to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices, trends, and techniques in occupational therapy.
Provide a compassionate and professional approach to therapy services.
Attends required meetings
Perform other duties as assigned
