About The Position

HSHS St. Vincent Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our inpatient/acute care team. Ideal candidates are patient focused, mission driven, wanting to work with patients in an inpatient setting helping them regain or improve the skills necessary for daily living and working after illness, injury, or surgery.

Requirements

  • Graduate (e.g., bachelors, master, or doctorate) from an accredited program which meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice is required.
  • IL: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been authorized to practice by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (IDFPR) and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • WI: State Licensure as an Occupational Therapist is required OR has been issued a temporary licensure to practice and must obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • Certified Basic Life Support (BLS) or completion in the first 90 days of employment is required.

  • Work with patients in an inpatient setting helping them regain or improve the skills necessary for daily living and working after illness, injury, or surgery.
