About The Position
The Occupational Therapist works on the Inpatient Rehabilitation team at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township. The role helps patients develop, recover, or maintain daily living and work skills, supporting their independence and functionality. The therapist assesses patient needs, develops personalized treatment plans, provides therapeutic interventions, collaborates with an interdisciplinary care team, educates patients and families, and documents patient progress and treatment plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE)-accredited program.
- Current State of Michigan licensure.
- Current CPR certification, or obtain it within 90 days of hire.
- Successfully complete the FIM certification exam with a score of at least 80% within 90 days of hire and annually thereafter.

- Familiarity with FIM scoring and certification processes.
