About The Position

HealthPro Heritage is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a senior living community in Longmeadow, Massachusetts. This is a part-time PRN opportunity with potential to grow into a full-time role, offering flexible scheduling and pay of $45–$48 per hour based on experience. The therapist will join an established, supportive rehabilitation team and provide quality, patient-centered care while helping residents maintain independence and build strong relationships.

Requirements

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist, or eligibility for licensure.
Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
Ability to lift and assist patients as needed.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to therapy.

Responsibilities

Evaluate clients’ physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities using observations and standardized tools.
Create personalized treatment plans to meet clients’ goals and enhance functional abilities.
Educate clients and families on improving daily activities, including the use of adaptive equipment and environmental modifications.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
Advocate for clients’ needs and support them in accessing community resources, services, and accommodations.
