About The Position

LifeScape is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join its collaborative interdisciplinary team at its outpatient clinic in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The role focuses on helping children and adults with disabilities and complex medical needs overcome challenges, build independence, and reach their potential through individualized care. The clinic has a pediatric focus and serves people with a range of diagnoses and treatment needs, with opportunities to explore areas such as sensory and feeding therapy, rehabilitation, constipation management, visual motor, CIMT, autism services, birth-to-three, outreach, and school-based therapy. LifeScape emphasizes innovation, collaboration, inclusion, learning, and professional development. Occupational Therapists work alongside a broad pediatric interdisciplinary team and may have opportunities to float across outpatient, inpatient, and school-based settings or develop specialized training in feeding therapy, physical disability and rehabilitation, or school-based therapy. Full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules are available, with flexible hours and full-time opportunities of 30–40 hours per week. LifeScape is a qualifying employer under the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program.

Requirements

Master’s or doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy school and current South Dakota licensure; individuals who previously obtained a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy are grandfathered in and may apply.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record in the appropriate state.
Clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.

Nice To Haves

Prior occupational therapy experience with a pediatric population is preferred.
