About The Position
Innovate Rehab and Wellness is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist to work in a skilled nursing facility at Sarcoxie Health Care Center in Sarcoxie, Missouri. The role involves evaluating patients’ functional abilities and therapy needs, creating and delivering individualized treatment plans, and helping patients improve motor skills, coordination, and daily function so they can regain independence and quality of life. The position offers flexible, as-needed shifts and emphasizes one-on-one patient care; group and concurrent treatments account for less than 1% of treatment. Requirements
- Master’s or doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
- Valid state occupational therapy license.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough occupational therapy evaluations.
- Develop and adjust personalized treatment plans.
- Use therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment.
- Train patients and caregivers on exercises and assistive devices.
- Educate patients on strategies to improve function and safety.
- Collaborate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, physicians, and the full care team.
- Document patient progress and treatment changes accurately.
