About The Position
FOX Rehabilitation is seeking licensed Occupational Therapists in Akron, Ohio, to provide one-on-one care to older adults in private residences and senior living communities. Through its Geriatric House Calls™ model, clinicians help patients improve mobility, independence, wellness, and quality of life. Care settings may include independent living, assisted living, and memory care. The role offers autonomy to create and manage a treatment schedule and build lasting patient relationships. Clinicians may also incorporate telehealth and other virtual care into their schedules. FOX offers full-time, part-time, and PRN/FOX Flex employment pathways; compensation and benefits vary by employment type. The stated Ohio base pay range for full-time roles is $60,000–$95,000 annually, with an opportunity to earn more; part-time and FOX Flex pay is prorated. FOX Rehabilitation is a clinician-operated practice focused on meaningful relationships, evidence-based care, and a mission to abolish ageism. Requirements
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain one.
- Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
- Basic computer and EMR proficiency.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of in-home and community-based care, including lifting, performing CPR, assisting with patient transfers and bed mobility, repositioning patients, standing and walking for extended periods, climbing stairs, and performing therapeutic activities.
- Ability to drive to patient homes and senior living communities.
- Wear personal protective equipment when required.

Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one occupational therapy to older adults in private residences and senior living settings, including independent living, assisted living, and memory care.
- Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence-based treatment.
- Provide therapy that supports patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
- Document effectively in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and Fitness Specialists.
- Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
- Provide telehealth or virtual care when appropriate.
- Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls™ model.
- As opportunities arise, clinicians may earn additional compensation through referrals, clinical instruction, mentoring, supervising PTA/OTAs, care above bi-weekly quota, or creating written or social media content.
