About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to join an acute care hospital setting. This role focuses on delivering high-quality therapy services to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions, helping them regain independence and functional ability.
Requirements
- Minimum 15–18 months of recent Occupational Therapy experience
- Active Georgia Occupational Therapist License (required)
- AHA BLS Certification (required)
Nice To Haves
- Prior acute care experience
- Experience with ICU, neuro, and orthopedic patient populations
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop personalized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapy for patients with neurological, orthopedic, and general medical conditions
- Support ICU and acute care patients in improving mobility and daily living skills
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation strategies and recovery plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
- Follow established clinical protocols and best practices
