About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join an acute care team in a hospital setting. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered therapy services across a wide range of medical and surgical conditions, helping patients regain independence and functional ability.
Requirements
- Minimum 15–18 months of recent Occupational Therapy experience
- Active Georgia Occupational Therapist License (required)
- AHA BLS Certification (required)
Nice To Haves
- Prior acute care hospital experience
- Experience working with ICU, neuro, and orthopedic patients
Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
- Provide therapy services for patients with neurological, orthopedic, and general medical conditions
- Work with ICU and acute care patients to improve functional mobility and daily living skills
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using EMR systems
- Follow hospital protocols and evidence-based practices
