About The Position

Westside is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist for its Frankfort Clinic in Frankfort, Illinois. The role works with pediatric clients and offers opportunities to develop skills in areas such as Sensory Integration Therapy, Feeding Therapy, and Pediatric Mental Health. The Occupational Therapist collaborates with a multidisciplinary team that includes Speech-Language Pathologists, Physical Therapists, Clinical Counselors, and ABA professionals. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 3 PM to 7 PM and/or Saturdays from 8 AM to 2 PM. The listed hourly pay range is $55–$70, based on skills and experience. Requirements

Master’s or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited occupational therapy program.
Successfully pass the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
Occupational therapy license in Illinois or eligibility to obtain one.
Creative mindset for making sessions enjoyable for pediatric clients.
Collaborative spirit and willingness to work as part of a team.
Passion for working with neurodiverse pediatric populations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Assess clients for adaptations and determine whether special equipment is needed.
Identify and implement therapeutic interventions to develop clients’ fine motor, cognitive, language, self-care, regulation, and other skills.
Support and guide clients’ families so they can foster behaviors and practices used in treatment.
