About The Position

Join a supportive therapy team in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan! We are seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a skilled nursing setting.

Requirements

• Current Michigan Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
• Passion for providing compassionate, patient-centered care

Nice To Haves

• Previous SNF, inpatient, outpatient, or rehabilitation experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services to help patients improve function, mobility, independence, and quality of life
• Document patient progress accurately and timely
• Collaborate with PT, SLP, nursing, physicians, and other members of the care team
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and recommendations
• Participate in care planning and discharge planning
