PRN Occupational Therapist - Outpatient
About The Position
As an outpatient Occupational Therapist, you will help patients achieve greater normalcy and independence through self-care management and activities of daily living. You will communicate with and educate patients, family members, and caregivers on supporting patients with daily routines. The role involves interdisciplinary team collaboration to provide evidence-based care. Requirements
- Graduate of an AOTA-approved occupational therapy program.
- State licensure in occupational therapy.
- Registration with NBCOT.
- Basic Life Support certification.
Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based, quality care to help each patient exceed functional outcomes.
- Establish timely treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Build positive connections with patients, fellow clinicians, and other team members.
- Build and maintain relationships throughout the community.
- Communicate with and educate patients, family members, and caregivers about supporting daily routines.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide evidence-based practice.
