About The Position

Provides therapy to patients based on patient need and medical direction. Provides patient and caregiver education and arranges for adaptive equipment as needed. This is a part-time outpatient PRN position at Gerber Hospital in Fremont, Michigan, with a day shift and four scheduled hours per week. Corewell Health offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus for external hires.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Michigan Occupational Therapist license required upon hire.
• Occupational Therapist, Registered (OTR) certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy required upon hire.
• Michigan driver's license required upon hire for Home Care Business Lines.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required within 90 days.

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree preferred.
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) credential from the Hand Therapy Certification Commission Hand Therapy Program preferred upon hire.
