About The Position
Theracare is currently seeking a motivated Occupational Therapist to deliver exemplary care and enthusiasm in working with our adult population in the Home Health Care settings. This is a PRN position for the La Porte area. Easy access to local Regional Management Staff for support Flexible scheduling
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science or advanced degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state license/certification
- Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Certification Board
- Excellent oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrate competency in applying the principles, methods, materials and equipment used in specific therapy discipline
- Knowledge of accreditation standards and compliance requirements
Nice To Haves
- Prefer minimum one (1) year experience in rehabilitation
- New Graduates are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- The Occupational Therapist would evaluate and treat patients, in accordance with the orders from the physician, through the use of a variety of therapeutic procedures designed to restore loss of muscle strength, coordination, body alignment, to relieve pain, improve movement and function.
- The Occupational Therapist will work as a member of a team providing support and information within the area of Occupational Therapy.
