About The Position

The Orthopaedic Center is looking for a highly motivated Occupational Therapist for one of our growing locations. This opening is a full-time position averaging 40 hours per week. The Occupational Therapist will examine, plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to patients referred by appropriate professionals. The Occupational Therapist must be able to communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.

Requirements

• Masters or Doctor of Occupational degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Program
• Current Occupational Therapy License in the state of Alabama
• CPR Certified
• Strong patient care and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• Outstanding organizational, time management and writing skills
• Ability to speak clearly and concisely
• Independent, self-starting and highly motivated
• Initiative and self-discipline
• Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history

Responsibilities

• Examine, plan and administer occupational therapy treatments to patients referred by appropriate professionals.
• Communicate effectively with patients, TOC physicians and staff.
