About The Position
Independence Rehab is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist to join our team at Meadow Brook Rehab, Mount Olympus Rehab, and Spring Creek Healthcare Center. All three are located on the southeast side of Salt Lake City, UT. We offer 5-10 hours per week for this position. Whether you're a new grad or experienced OT looking for a PRN gig with clinical autonomy, this is a great place to grow and stay long-term. Requirements
- Current Utah OT license in good standing
- Degree from an accredited OT program
- Organized, self-starter who enjoys the geriatric population
- Ability to supervise a COTA
Nice To Haves
- SNF experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Functional ADL retraining and adaptive strategies
- Transfer training (all levels)
- Fall prevention and safety training
- Treatment of clinically complex patients
- Discharge planning and care coordination
- Supervision of a COTA (as needed)
- Collaboration with nursing, PT, ST, and facility staff
