About The Position

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to provide home health services to homebound clients in Central Houston, Texas, who qualify for Medicare coverage. The therapist partners with patients on their recovery journey, helping them regain independence and improve quality of life in their homes. The role focuses on restoring mobility, enhancing functional abilities, promoting health, preventing disability, and supporting long-term wellness through hands-on interventions tailored to each patient’s needs.

Requirements

• Active Occupational Therapy license in the state of Texas.
• Current professional liability insurance for practice in Texas.
• Graduate degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage a variety of patient personalities.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Professional and compassionate demeanor with excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in home health or rehabilitation settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions and create individualized treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic strategies to improve daily living and motor skills.
