About The Position

PARS Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join its home health team serving Central Houston, Texas. The role provides personalized, evidence-based care in patients’ homes to help them regain movement, reduce pain, and improve quality of life. The clinician evaluates patients, develops individualized treatment plans, delivers therapeutic interventions, educates patients and caregivers, monitors progress, documents care digitally, collaborates with interdisciplinary team members, and assesses home safety. Full-time and PRN opportunities are described.

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Texas.
• Professional liability insurance coverage specific to the Texas Physical Therapy license.
• Graduate degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Ability to adapt care approaches to suit a variety of patient personalities and needs.
• Up-to-date knowledge of evidence-based treatment techniques and best practices.
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor when educating and interacting with patients.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in home health or rehabilitative settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients’ physical abilities and functional limitations in a home health setting.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, improve mobility, and alleviate pain.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercise, gait training, manual therapy, and balance retraining.
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety techniques, and adaptive strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Accurately document evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes using digital platforms.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists.
• Conduct home safety assessments and recommend measures to prevent falls or re-injury.
• Deliver compassionate care while empowering patients to achieve greater independence.
