Occupational Therapist, Home Health (Full-time preferred)
About The Position
Assisted is seeking a per diem or full-time Occupational Therapist to provide home health services supporting its Santa Barbara branch. The role works with nurses, physical therapists, and other medical professionals to provide therapeutic care that helps patients increase their independence and improve everyday living and working skills. The Occupational Therapist evaluates patients’ functional levels and initiates treatment plans intended to relieve pain, prevent disability, develop body skills, restore function, and maintain patients’ capabilities through graded functional Occupational Therapy activities. Compensation is listed as $75 per evaluation visit plus $11 for mileage, and $75 per routine visit plus $11 for mileage.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy curriculum.
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist.
- At least one year of experience in occupational therapy.
