Under the leadership of the Assistant Director of Higher Level of Care, the Occupational Therapist is responsible and accountable for providing occupational therapy services to children, adolescents and their families, carrying out interventions to help improve behavioral health and functioning. Duties include patient evaluation, assessment, treatment planning, individual and group intervention implementation, and discharge transition support. The Occupational Therapist will assist in program development within the Ohana Clinical Team across multiple service levels, and may provide educational presentations to families, staff, interns, and community members/services. Important dimensions of this position consist of quality of care, professional commitment, teamwork, interpersonal skills, safety, good public/customer relations and a broad clinical knowledge. Must have strong interpersonal skills, flexibility, curiosity, humor and humility.
