The OT works collaboratively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to promote functional independence, safety, and overall well-being. The Occupational Therapist is an onsite position. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy
  • Current Occupational Therapy license in the State of Ohio
  • None (Experience)
  • BLS (Certification)

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree in occupational therapy
  • Doctor of Science – Occupational Therapy

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patients’ physical, cognitive, sensory, and psychosocial abilities using standardized assessments and clinical observations to determine functional needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation findings, patient goals, and evidence-based practice.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions that improve functional performance in areas such as self-care, mobility, work, and leisure activities.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive strategies, home programs, and use of assistive or adaptive equipment.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care, track patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and ensure continuity of services.
  • Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
  • Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request.
  • May be expected to work longer hours as necessary.
  • Other duties as assigned.
