Per Diem Occupational Therapist
About The Position
Assisted Rehab, Inc. is hiring Per Diem Occupational Therapists for our partner locations in Baltimore, Cockeysville, Towson, and Catonsville, MD. In this role, you will provide on-site therapy services to a geriatric population in both skilled and outpatient settings. We welcome both recent graduates and experienced therapists, and provide all necessary training. Assisted Rehab is Maryland’s privately owned, premier on-site geriatric focused rehabilitation company where therapists foster their passion for rehab while achieving the ultimate work-life balance. We partner with CCRCs, hospitals, and senior communities to provide top-notch on-site skilled and outpatient therapy.
Requirements
- Licensed Occupational Therapist in Maryland (Or soon to be licensed!)
- Active CPR certification
- Passion for patient-centered care
- Strong evaluation and clinical reasoning skills
- Ability to build rapport with patients and work effectively on a team
Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy evaluations and create individualized plans of care
- Deliver skilled therapy services that improve mobility, function, safety, and independence
- Track progress, update treatment plans, and clearly communicate patient status
- Complete documentation accurately and on time
- Collaborate with therapy team members and other healthcare professionals
- Help create a rehab program that patients, families, and facilities trust
