About The Position

HSHS St. John’s Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join its inpatient/acute care team in a PRN capacity. Occupational Therapists support the HSHS mission by helping patients develop, recover, and improve personal skills and abilities. They provide ordered therapy services to treat patients and help them perform activities necessary for daily living and working. The position is based at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Illinois, within the Speech department and Rehab/Therapy/Sleep core function. The listed schedule is PRN on day shift, either 7:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Pay is listed at $39.60–$59.40, with the successful candidate’s actual rate based on factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited program (bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate) that meets the licensure requirements in the state of practice.
At least 2 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist.
Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of practice.
Certified Basic Life Support (BLS), or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
