Occupational Therapist, Pediatrics, Part and/or Full Time
About The Position
Burger Physical Therapy is seeking a State Board Licensed Occupational Therapist to join its Pediatric Outpatient team in Folsom. The role serves pediatric patients and calls for pediatric experience, including sensory or picky-eater feeding, or neuro/vestibular experience. The therapist will work with a rehabilitation team and an on-site Physical Therapist/Director. The position may be part-time or full-time, with preferred hours Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., or 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. A partial or full benefits package is available. The employer says it is looking to fill the position immediately.
Requirements
- California-licensed Occupational Therapist.
- Experience with pediatrics.
- Valid California driver’s license.
- Proof of automobile insurance.
- CPR certification.
- TB test.
- Proof of immunity or vaccination for MMR and COVID.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with sensory or picky-eater feeding.
- Neuro/vestibular experience.
Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and conduct occupational therapy programs.
- Test and evaluate patients’ physical and mental abilities and analyze medical data to determine realistic rehabilitation goals.
- Consult with the rehabilitation team to select activity programs and coordinate occupational therapy with other therapeutic activities.
