About The Position
Absolute Rehabilitation and Consulting is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist at Plum Creek Assisted Living in Brunswick, Ohio. The role involves assessing patients’ ability to perform daily activities and creating personalized treatment plans to improve independence and quality of life. The therapist provides interventions for functional limitations, educates patients and caregivers, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team. Weekday and weekend hours are available, with flexible scheduling, no minimum hourly requirement, and opportunities to pick up PRN hours at multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- Assess patients’ abilities to perform daily activities and develop personalized treatment plans to improve independence and quality of life.
- Provide interventions addressing functional limitations, including adaptive techniques, strengthening, and cognitive strategies.
- Educate patients and caregivers on using adaptive equipment and modifying environments to enhance daily living skills.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic patient care and maximize outcomes.
