Requirements

Current and active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license
Strong clinical assessment and treatment-planning skills
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team
Strong organizational and documentation skills
New graduates are encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

Evaluate residents and develop individualized treatment plans designed to promote independence and functional recovery
Provide evidence-based occupational therapy interventions focused on ADLs, mobility, safety, and quality of life
Supervise and provide clinical guidance to Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs)
Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, rehabilitation professionals, and other interdisciplinary team members
Participate in care planning meetings, utilization reviews, and discharge planning
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Educate residents, families, and caregivers regarding treatment strategies, home safety, and adaptive equipment
Provide caregiver training and support successful transitions to home or the next level of care
