About The Position

TheraDynamics is hiring an Occupational Therapist for its outpatient clinics. The role provides hands-on care across a varied caseload, including hand and upper-extremity injuries, neurological rehabilitation, pediatric developmental delays, and return-to-work programs. Clinics are equipped with modern tools, and therapists collaborate and share knowledge to support patient outcomes.

The Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats outpatient clients, develops creative, evidence-based treatment plans, fabricates custom splints when needed, and educates patients and families about home programs and adaptive strategies. The role provides dedicated one-on-one time with each patient.

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Current or eligible for New York State occupational therapy licensure.
• NBCOT certification or eligibility for certification.
• Interest in outpatient rehabilitation and diverse caseloads.

Nice To Haves

• Hand therapy experience is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat outpatient clients across a diverse caseload.
• Provide upper-extremity rehabilitation and hand therapy.

• Provide work hardening and functional capacity evaluations.
• Design creative, evidence-based treatment plans.
