Occupational Therapist (OT) - Home Health - Full Time
About The Position
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring a full-time Occupational Therapist to provide home-based care. Occupational Therapists help patients with debilitating conditions improve their ability to perform everyday tasks at home. They use treatments to develop patients’ daily living skills and basic motor functions, and help them compensate for loss of function. They administer skilled care to clients requiring intermittent professional services and teach family members and other members of the healthcare team. Services are provided in accordance with physicians’ orders and the established plan of care, under the direction and supervision of the Branch Director. The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy.
- Licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state where the employee practices.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience is preferred; less experience may be accepted with approval from the Regional Vice President and/or Regional Director of Therapy Services based on prior experience setting.
- Medicare home health experience is preferred.
